Wicho Hernandez

Wicho’s life’s mission is to help others reach their full potential. The financial expertise he has acciuired over his nearly 25-year career, coupled with his outstanding
motivational skills, and his ability ta understand clients has led ta the explosive growth of his financial service agency.
As Managing Partner of MassMutual Miami, Wicho serves as a role model and powerful source of inspiration to over 100 professionals working in his firm from offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Brickell and Coral Gables, Florida. He leads his team by example by helping corporations and educating families in planning for the future while protecting their loved ones. Not only does he serve as a role model for his advisors, but he also provides them with the tools, insight, and resources necessary for success.

Wicho assumes a leadership role in many public services, political initiatives, and community-based organizations. He is best known for the highly successful charity golf tournament, Wicho’s On the Green, which he has put on annually since 2007. The tournament has funded Autism Society Miami-Dade Chapter, the University of Miami/
Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism & Relate Disabilities, Children’s Cancer Caring Center, Miami Lighthouse for the blind, among others. I n addition, Wiehe has also served in a leadership capacity for the Young Presidents Organization, Orange Bowl Committee, Iron Arrow Honor Society, The South Miami Hospital Foundation Board, Metro Traffic Board, LBA Member, CABA Member, United Way benefactor, Baptist Founder, West Kendall Hospital Board, and APOLLO Bank Board.

Wicho earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami, where he was a four-year letterman as a baseball player. After college, he played minor league baseball for the Mets, and then went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from Harvard University. Wicho’s professional designation include his Series 6 (General Securities Representative), 7 (General Securities Principal), 53, 63 and 66.

Wiehe and his wife, Margee, live in Miami. His biggest pride and joy are his children, Ari and Siena, and he is delighted to have another child on the way.
